I grew up on a farm in Day County SD. I did more than my fair share of milking cows, putting up hay, working the summer-fallow, swathing, working the cows… believe it or not, I got paid too!! three hots and a cot!! I really didn’t appreciate it at the time but dad set me up with the responsibilities I needed to be where I am today and I am very grateful for all the experiences he gave me! I graduated high school in 1989 from Groton, SD. I attended South Dakota State University in the fall of 1989 and earned an Associates in Agriculture in 1992. In 1994 finished my Bachelors of Science in Business from Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD. The focus of my degree was in Business, Accounting and Economics.
I’ve been self-employed for the majority of the past 20 some years. When you love what you do, you never work a day in your life!
